Welcome to Caheroe Cottage!
Dating from the early 20th century, the cottage was built from granite stone hewn from the nearby mountains. The cosy and relaxed hide-away consists of 2 double en-suite bedrooms, kitchen and 1st floor living room overlooking the wonderful and picturesque Blackstairs mountains. The cottage is centrally heated, fuelled by a wood-burning stove. It's the ideal location to relax after hill walking or a host of other activities available nearby.
Caheroe Cottage is a comfortable holiday home and provides an excellent self catering accommodation for hill walkers and families. The cottage is pet friendly. It is available to rent for short and long term throughout the year. The cottage is just a throw away from the famous Caher Roe's Den - a cave on the South- West ridge, named after Cathaoir na gCapall, a rapparee from the 18th century, who took a refuge here. The view from the top of the ridge offer some breathtaking views of the farm land below, where our cottage is also situated.
